I asked mom how to get to Buhisan Dam so together with Pop on his motorcycle, we went out early this morning and showed me the way by the narrow road to the right of Jollibee in Punta, Labangon (not the road beside Jollibee). From there, we just asked the people around to point the way to us.
Mom said that it’s not a fenced area before but a kid supposedly drown and since it’s one of the water sources of Cebu, they had it closed from the public. Permit could be had for free from the City Hall which mom planned to get for me next time.
According to Cebu Trek n Treat blog, there’s a secret entrance by way of a broken fence but I wasn’t able to find this myself. Either the broken fence was already fixed or I just completely missed it.
Anyway, I don’t few the attempt to find the place as a complete failure because the way up to the mountain was beautiful and I get to smell cool mountain air.
P.S. I’ve been trying to find a Narra tree, Philippine’s national tree, and the guard at the entrance of the Buhisan Dam told us that they have some Narra trees inside.
Nope, I don’t have any more BLURRED picture. Pop doesn’t care about stopping for the scenery unfortunately.

Actually the blurred on that winding road looks good!
