Sister was talking about having her eyelash extended and it turned out that mom wanted to try this out too. They really are like two peas in the same pod.
However, mom thinks it wouldn’t look nice on her being old and wrinkly already so she asked me to do it. She wants to see how it is done really and she offered to pay it as her Christmas gift for me. Who am I to say no to FREE experience?
We went to old Robinson in Fuente Circle because mom saw an advertisement of natural eyelash extension at one of the salon there in Upper Ground Floor for only 400 pesos. How was it done? The girl put a tape on my lower eyelashes and asked me to close my eyes. Then as if planting rice in a field, she started putting in hair strand one at a time along my lash lines. The service took about an hour and the black glue stings a bit at first. Pulling the tape on the lower eyelashes hurts too.
Mom and I loved the result. She said: Old or not, I will have it done also
As for me, well what do you think? Will I go back again and shell out 400 pesos from my pocket for something that will last for a few weeks only?
P.S. I read that the key to permanent thicker eyelashes is by swabbing olive oil with a cotton ball. I’m thinking of trying this method first and using virgin coconut oil instead. I’ll see how this little experiment will go.

Another key tip on thicker and healthier lashes is keeping your lash line clean. Make sure to remove your eye make up every night and cleanse properly. Any mascara left on your lashes over night becomes brittle and cause your natural lash to break. If you don’t clean your eyes often, make up, dirt, oil residue will build up and clog your pores. You’ll notice your lashes start to grow out thinner and in worse cases, you can get lash mites!!
thanks for the tip
