Waterfall in the City: Kabang Falls

We wanted to do something together in the city that doesn’t involve spending much money so we checked the internet and read about a “hidden paradise” right in the middle of the city.

This information certainly caught our attention so off we go to check this place…

1. At Ayala Terminal, we rode Jeepney bound for Talamban and told driver to drop us at Sunny Hills. Fare is at 9 pesos only.

2. At Sunny Hills subdivision gate, we saw motorcycles for rent (also known as Habal-Habal) and informed drivers to take us to Kabang Falls. We got off at Sitio Baugo and fare was 25 pesos per person.

3. At Sitio Baugo, we bought a liter of bottled water from one of the sari-sari stores and asked local for general directions to get to the falls.

After trekking for around 1 kilometer, we finally found it and this jungle bunny was only wearing flipflops while my companion brought the umbrella, camera and bottle of water. Very touristy still. :)
