As of January 5, 2013 at 10 AM, there were 5 single ladies left in our group. Yes, Gie was a freaking traitor of our Spinster Club.
Anyway, it was a fine church wedding (the kind that’s usually every girl’s dream wedding but my own) with priest bubbling about being unequipped to give any advise to couples since he has zero experiences himself and that based from the priest’s interview with other couples, supposedly the keys to successful marriage are: Responsibility, Communication and Commitment.
Reception was held at Chateau de Busay and I love the venue because of its nice overlooking view of Cebu City but other than this, I feel that the event was too grand for my taste. Reception at Chateau de Busay cost around 50,000 pesos to 140,000 and that’s just way over my pay grade especially since church fees, flowers, wedding costumes for bride and groom plus entourage, bus to transport guests and other sh*t is not yet included.
One of my friends asked me if I will have a grand church wedding also like Gie and my reply was:
I don’t believe in your church and I don’t believe in spending a lot of money for one day when marriage is hopefully a lifetime event.

Lovely photos! Great venue sa reception!
