Fame’s Wedding for Perfect Party and Other Events in Cebu

My sister wanted to have a perfect and hassle-free birthday party for her little boy and discovered Fame’s Wedding Concepts and Events via Internet. Since she was in Belgium still at the time, she asked me to make an arrangement with them. I’m not much for events so what I basically did is to print my sister’s instruction and gave it to Fames as well as pay the necessary dues which was 14,600 pesos to cover the Package B Kiddie Parties plus other additional services such as magician, chocolate fountain, face painting and balloon columns.

Grand Convention Function room Chrysanthemum turn out to be one magical place for a night with a Batman theme (Birthday boy is the batman of course) and it was quite painless on my part that I only have good things to say about this Party team.

I’ve yet to see their other events like weddings and debut but based from what I’ve witnessed with this one event alone, I can say that I would be happy to get their services again for any of our future events and would be proud to recommend Fame’s among friends.

01 – Birthday Card

I thought to feature SOME cards I’ve received. Cards may include postcards, greeting cards, holiday cards, whatever.

One of my favorite hang-out place is actually NATIONAL BOOKSTORE and while prancing around the place, I saw this card and loved it so much that I bought it immediately. Then I brought it to work and asked friends to sign their birthday greetings to me on this card. Yes, I spearheaded my own birthday greetings because I don’t want them to forget to send me greetings. Also because I’m such a very helpful, forceful and nagging woman.

I love this card because inside it says…

“Happy Birthday from our little group, strange and wonderful as it may be.”

Can you read the people’s greetings??? One of my friends joked that “I hope you will be using ORIGINAL already instead of VIBRATOR”. For the record, I don’t have a vibrator. At least not anymore. Nyahahaha.

December 23 is a Beautiful Day

Cadeau Voor Mij

Friends at work gave me 430 pesos cash (7.5 Euro) and told me to buy a gift for myself. Since I’ve been eyeing this baking dish of late, I decided to buy it with their money and had it giftwrapped afterwards. Going to open the gift I bought for me on my actual birth date… Nyahaha

I’m actually not so looking forward to this Friday because I’ll be hitting 30s already when my mindset is still at 22 but mentally challenged aside, I’m happy to be alive with friends and family. Thank you Lord for all the gifts and graces!

Birthday Party at Gerry’s Grill Cebu

Our team decided to have a birthday party slash Christmas gathering at Gerry’s Grill and I believe that it was a good choice for venue. Although Gerry’s Grill in SM Cebu Northwing does not accept reservation but I was able to have them arrange the tables and chairs good for 16 people because I got there a few minutes after they’ve just opened.

Our lunch was supposed to start at 10:30 in the morning but most of the people arrived 1-hour late that I find it a torture to be sitting there with lots of foods on the table going cold. I love all the foods in Gerry’s Grill except their Nilagang Bulalo (285 pesos / 5 Euro) so I didn’t bother taking a picture of this soup. I don’t think they can beat Golden Cowrie’s Bulalo in terms of the size of the meat they offer. And because of the typhoon Sendang that kills more than 1000 people in Mindanao, not much seafoods were available that day.

These are our mouth-watering orders with the latest prices from Gerry’s Grill menu:

 Bagoong Rice @ 135 pesos / 2.4 Euro

 Veggie Rice @ 155 pesos / 2.7 Euro

 Beef Kaldereta @ 225 pesos / 3.9 Euro

 Chopsuey @ 175 pesos / 3 Euro

 Sizzling Binagoongang Baboy @ 175 pesos / 3 Euro

 Sizzling Blue Marlin 300 grams @ 335 pesos / 5.9 Euro

Except for the crispy pata family size, most of their food servings is good for only 2-3 people. Total bill for 16 people was 5079 pesos or 89.1 Euro.

The best part about Gerry’s Grill which I really love is their lively birthday song offering for the birthday celebrants with a free scoop of ice cream.
