Mango Lauper from Rock ‘N’ Roll Crepes

I wanted to eat something new so I thought to try Rock ‘N’ Roll Crepes located in SM Cebu with mom. It’s basically just pancake with all the delicious goodies which remind me of the last pancake I had with my nephew. Crepes cost 70 pesos up which is a bit expensive compared to my favorite banana and chocolate pancake being sold in Bangkok street for the price of only 20 Baht or 28 pesos.

Rock N Roll Crepe

Anyway, Rock ‘N’ Roll offers several variety of crepes to choose from and they are on nice visual display for the customers that I have trouble deciding on what to buy because they all look delicious to me.  I don’t understand why crepes are being served with hotdog, tuna and some vegetables though.  Somehow, I believed that crepes should be sweet.

At first I wanted to order Copa Cabanana for only 80 pesos that comes with banana, whipped cream and chocolate syrup but in the end, I decided to try their best seller which is Mango Lauper Crepe for 90 pesos only and this pretty lady made it for me in a minute or two only.

What’s in Mango Lauper? It’s a pancake that comes with slices of sweet juicy mango, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate syrup. LAMI KAAYO (Very Delicious)!  I thought to come back again at Rock ‘N’ Roll and try their OTHER CREPES but I think I’ll only be ordering Mango Lauper all over again. It’s that good.  Don’t believe me?  Try it out for yourself.  Rock ‘N’ Roll Crepes is located above Ace Hardware if I’m not mistaken.

Bacon and Cheese Omelette

Have you ever cooked an omelette?

Frying pan, bowl, fork, spatula, 3 eggs, salt, pepper and your choice of filling.

You beat the eggs in the bowl. Put butter in the pan heat it until it melts then pour the egg in the pan and run it around to cover the pan. After 2 minutes, flip, season and fill it, then fold it and put it on the plate. Eat.

Max time 8 minutes.

I prefer cheese, but you don’t have to.

P.S.
For this omelette, I added a teaspoon of fresh milk with the beaten eggs and fillings used were cooked bacon, tomatoes and cheese.

Chopped spring onions and tomato was used to garnish my omelette.

Served with one of my favorite appetizers in the whole world: Dried Fish!

Mango met Budbud

My breakfast today is budbud, a kind of sticky rice, and mango.

Budbud = 5 Php per piece
Mango = 50 Php per kilo

breakfast

I’m not too crazy about budbud so I can only eat one piece. I saw papaya (10 Php per kilo) and watermelon (50 Php per piece) in our refrigerator though which I planned to attack as soon as I’m done with my sweet mango.

I love fruits!

After I’m done with my breakfast, I’m going to do my yoga simply by watching several videos at youtube.

Thank you Lord for this wonderful day!

Breakfast @ Work

Friends from work decided to eat breakfast together and menu was:

½ kilo pusit (dried squid) – 200
Hard Boiled Egg – 69
Purefood Corned Beef – 130

Since there were 11 of us, the total donation is 36 pesos each.

breakfast

I arrived late in the office so I only got their leftovers with a wrinkly hotdog instead of the much sought after corned beef.  I was not about to add undue stress to my heart just because I didn’t get exactly what I paid for so I just let it go and heartily eat my delicious breakfast with ½ cup of rice.
